The National Golf Club Challenge

In support of Help for Heroes

Pure Golf Events are proud to be associated with Help for Heroes and are honoured to sponsor and administer The National Golf Club Challenge.

We have teamed up with some of the biggest names in the golf industry to bring every UK golf club together on the 24th and 25th July 2010 in support of Help for Heroes.

The challenge is simple; each golf club will compete for the right to call its self The Help for Heroes National Golf Club Challenge Champions 2010 and help raise thousands of pounds for wounded service personnel.

Each participating golf club will organise their own Help for Heroes fund-raising activities around the Challenge event. Please note, there is no charge associated with participating in the Challenge.

The National Golf Club Challenge Final at The Belfry
Ten golfers from the top six scoring clubs will be invited to play in The Grand Final.

The two day Final, sponsored by YourGolfTravel.com, will be held at The Belfry, four times host to the Ryder Cup.

Our event sponsors have donated some fabulous prizes for the top three golf clubs in the UK and a special prize for the top fundraising Golf Club.

About Help for Heroes – Help for Heroes was the idea of appeal chairman Bryn Parry and a group of friends and relations. They wanted to help wounded soldiers returning home from combat and came up with several fundraising ideas which led to Help for Heroes being born.

The Charity are completely non political and accept wars happen under any government, all they want to do with the help of the British public, is to assist our wounded heroes.
