WEDGWOOD
The Wedgwood sports division have been associated with incredible moments of celebration in the world of international sport for over 60 years. In donating the specially commissioned Help for Heroes National Golf Club Challenge trophy, Wedgwood continues its long tradition of supporting local and national charities.
Wedgwood (and Waterford Crystal) now part of the WWRD group, have enjoyed a long association with professional golf, producing among others, the stunning World Golf Championship trophies for the USPGA. “That association together with a proud tradition of giving back to the community has led to our collaboration with the National Golf Club Challenge in aid of the Help for Heroes foundation creating an equally impressive trophy for this very worthy cause” – Gerry O’Keeffe, manager for Sports and Special markets at WWRD.
The National Golf Club Challenge “The name of Wedgwood has been associated for many years with some of the finest trophies in golf. So what better way to reward the 2010 National Golf Club Challenge winners, than with a fantastic trophy made by the incredibly skilled Wedgwood craftsmen. The trophy will be a fitting end to the 2010 Challenge and a phenomenal addition to any club’s awards cabinet.” – Stacey Jeffries, Event Director
