As the momentum builds towards the 2010 National Golf Club Challenge on the 24th and 25th of July, production of the magnificent trophy, The Lee Westwood Cup, continues at the Wedgwood factory in Stoke on Trent.

This uniquely designed trophy will be a fitting prize that will grace the clubhouse of the winning team in the 2010 NGCC until they defend their title 12 months later.

The National Golf Club Challenge are delighted to announce a range of commemorative gift and award products from Wedgwood china and Waterford crystal, which are available to purchase by your golf club.

For each product purchase a contribution will be made directly to the Help for Heroes charity.

Waterford and Wedgwood (as part of the newly formed WWRD group) have a long association with the world of sports and have supplied trophies to so some of the Worlds major golf events as well as to a variety of other disciplines.

The National Golf Club Challenge, in aid of Help for Heroes, is on course to becoming the biggest amateur golf charity event the UK has seen. To be held on 24th and 25th July, it will unite hundreds of golf clubs and thousands of golfers in demonstrating their support for our injured armed forces.

As well as raising a lot of money for the Help for Heroes charity, golfers will compete for some outstanding prizes, including golfing holidays to Egypt - and to be awarded the stunning 'Lee Westwood Cup'.

Register Your Club to Play in the Challenge
If you already have a competition planned for the 24th or 25th July, you can simply incorporate The National Golf Club Challenge fund raising event into it, in aid of Help for Heroes.
