What is The National Golf Club Challenge?
The National Golf Club Challenge is a charity golf day on a scale never seen before. The aim is to bring golf clubs throughout the UK together on the same weekend (24th & 25th July 2010) to hold hundreds of charity golf days – and compete to win some spectacular golf prizes.
With endorsements already obtained from professional golfers, celebrities and many of the top golf brands, we are confident The National Golf Club Challenge will be the biggest AM charity golf event the UK has seen.

Ian Poulter
"I am so proud of our troops, their commitment and dedication is something that needs recognition. As a sportsman I can only imagine how difficult it is to deal with the debilitating injuries, both mentally and physically.
"Help for Heroes provides an incredible support for these tough and inspiring people and I am proud that British golf clubs and golfers are giving their full support. I hope the National Golf Club Challenge raises a huge amount of money and that men and women all over the country have fun participating"
About Help for Heroes
Help for Heroes was the idea of appeal chairman Bryn Parry and a group of friends and relations. They wanted to help wounded soldiers returning home from combat and came up with several fundraising ideas which led to Help for Heroes being born.
The Charity are completely non political and accept wars happen under any government, all they want to do with the help of the British public, is to assist our wounded heroes. Find out more at
