The National Golf Club Challenge Final
11th & 12th of October 2010 at The Belfry

Sixth Place – Wickham Park Golf Club
Now ten-years old and maturing extremely well, the Wickham Park Golf course length is 5,868 yards, featuring two par 5s. The signature 2nd hole is 404 yards with a dog leg to the left creating an interesting second approach shot to the green, which many players tend to underestimate at their peril.

Best Golfing Memory: Would like to think I could give a new answer on October 13th! This year I wanted to get to single fingers and get my name on the honours board at Wickham, pleased to say I managed both (just).
Why I played: Regardless of how anyone feels about the rights and wrongs of recent conflicts, the sacrifice and bravery of our serving forces is unquestionable and truly amazing. Just to be able to show some small measure of support is a privilege. |
