The Challenge Welcomes a New Media Partner
Posted on 22nd January, 2010
It has been a long day for the Challenge team – but a rewarding one. We are very pleased to welcome Golf Monthly as a National Golf Club Challenge media partner.Established in 1911 by double Open Champion, Harold Hilton, Golf Monthly is the world's oldest monthly golf magazine. Written by golfers, for golfers, Golf Monthly is packed with expert opinion, equipment reviews, advice on where to play and stay, plus star player interviews and coverage of issues affecting every level of the game.
"Golf Monthly, the UK's most widely read golf magazine, is proud to be supporting the National Golf Club Challenge - a superb event for club golfers that will directly benefit the outstanding work done by Help For Heroes" Michael Harris, Editor, Golf Monthly

The timing of Golf Monthly's support couldn't be better, as the Challenge team have a number of high profile promotional events coming up. Including running an exciting ‘guess the golf balls' competition in connection with a team of divers (from the forces) dredging the lake at The Belfry.
"We continue to be overwhelmed by the amount of help extended to us in order to raise funds for our injured troops. The National Golf Club Challenge continues to go from strength to strength thanks to the kind support from influential golf publications such as the excellent Golf Monthly." Stacey Jeffries, Event Director
The National Golf Club Challenge will be held on 24th and 25th July 2010. The event will unite hundreds of golf clubs and thousands of golfers in demonstrating their support for our injured armed forces. As well as raising a lot of money for the Help for Heroes charity, golfers will compete for some outstanding prizes, including golfing holidays to Egypt.
