VPAR to Provide Live Scoring for the Challenge Final
Posted on 10th February, 2010
The National Golf Club Challenge is pleased to welcome VPAR as a sponsor of the 2010 challenge grand final. VPAR will provide an exciting live scoring system to enable golfers and spectators to view the final leaderboard in real time. The two-day grand final event, to be held on 11th and 12th October 2010, will see the top six golf clubs from qualifying events across the country go head to head at The Belfry for the right to call themselves the 2010 Help for Heroes National Golf Club Challenge champions.
Introducing the latest technology to golf, VPAR has created the industry's most cutting edge live golf scoring system for both the amateur and professional game.
The concept is simple. Each player scores their round on a handheld touch screen device and VPAR immediately calculates the net score and updates all live leaderboards instantaneously.

The live leaderboards will be viewed in real time on each handheld device, touch screens on the course, plasma screens in The Belfry clubhouse and live on the internet. This will enable keen supporters of the challenge to enjoy the drama of the final from anywhere.
"We are proud to be supporting such a worthwhile charity. The armed forces do so much for us and it's great to be recognising this on a large scale. VPAR are pleased to be able to help drive online exposure for Help for Heroes by posting golfers scores live online." Jason Stoop, VPAR
