"We welcome YourGolfTravel.com as the headline sponsor for the 2010 National Golf Club Challenge grand final." said Stacey Jeffries, event organiser, "YourGolfTravel.com and The Belfry are two outstanding brands in the world of golf and will add so much to the success of the Challenge – and most importantly, help raise much needed funds for our injured troops."

Each club will host their own Help for Heroes charity fundraiser on 24th or 25th July 2010. The six top scoring clubs will then go forward to the final, where they will compete for some fantastic golf prizes, and to be crowned the 2010 National Golf Club Champions.

The two day grand final will be sponsored by Your Golf Travel.com, Europe’s fastest growing golf-travel company. Your Golf Travel.com offers golfing trips worldwide – including major championship venues, allowing golfers to follow in the footsteps of the pros.

Andrew Harding, managing director of Your Golf Travel.com, said: “Your Golf Travel.com is a proud supporter of Help for Heroes and we’re delighted to sponsor an event looking to raise so much money for this worthy cause.

"We want to put as many golfers on fairways as possible" Andrew continues, "and, as well as raising more than £1million for charity, the National Golf Club Challenge will get thousands of golfers out on the course which is great for the game. The Belfry is one of the most famous golf venues in the world and anyone reaching the grand final is certain to have a trip to remember."

With golf clubs registering to participate on a daily basis, the National Golf Club Challenge is tipped to be the largest amateur charity golf event the UK has seen.
